Quilt — Privacy Policy

The short version. Quilt has no accounts and no server. Your habits, your history and your streaks are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. The only data that leaves your device is what is needed to know whether you have bought Quilt Pro. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
Who is responsible
Quilt (“the app”) is published by Baltasar Jiménez (“we”, “us”), an individual developer based in Spain, who acts as data controller for the limited processing described below.

What stays on your device
Everything you actually create in Quilt is stored locally, in a file inside the app’s private storage, and in a shared container that lets the home-screen widget read it:
- The habits you create: name, emoji, colour, schedule and daily target.
- Your history: which days you completed, how many times, and which days you marked as skipped.
- Your reminder times.
- Whether you have purchased Quilt Pro.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server, so we could not receive it even if we wanted to. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
What leaves your device
Purchases
Quilt offers a single one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see or receive your card details, billing address or any other payment information.
To know whether a given installation has bought Quilt Pro, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. as a processor. RevenueCat assigns each installation an anonymous identifier and stores, on our behalf, that identifier, the purchase history associated with it, and technical device identifiers. Because Quilt has no accounts, this identifier is not linked to your name, your email address or any profile. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
RevenueCat processes data in the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Nothing else
Quilt contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not build profiles, we do not use remarketing, and we do not sell or share personal information with anyone. The app needs an internet connection only to check your purchase status.
Permissions the app asks for

Quilt does not request access to your location, your contacts, your camera, your microphone or your photo library. When you choose to save a shared image, the app writes that one file to your gallery; it never reads what is already there.
Files you export
Quilt can export your data as a backup file or as a CSV spreadsheet. You choose where that file is saved. Once saved, the file is yours and is outside our control — if you put it in a cloud folder, that provider’s policy applies to it, not this one.
How long data is kept
Data on your device is kept until you delete the habit or uninstall the app. Purchase records held by RevenueCat and Google Play are kept for as long as those services require in order to honour restores and to meet their own legal and tax obligations.
Children
Quilt is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The app has no accounts, no user-generated public content and no social features.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.
In practice, most of these you can exercise yourself and instantly: the data is on your phone. Deleting a habit erases it; uninstalling the app erases everything; the export feature is data portability. For the purchase data held by RevenueCat, write to baltajmn@gmail.com and we will act on your request. Note that we can only identify your records if you provide the anonymous identifier or the Google Play order number, precisely because we hold nothing that identifies you.
Legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the purchase you made) and our legitimate interest in preventing fraudulent restores. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Your rights under the CCPA / CPRA
If you are a California resident: in the last twelve months we have collected the categories “identifiers” (an anonymous installation identifier and device identifiers) and “commercial information” (your purchase history), for the sole purpose of delivering the product you bought.
We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16. You have the right to know, to delete, to correct and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights; write to baltajmn@gmail.com.
Do Not Track
Quilt does not track you across apps or websites, so there is no tracking behaviour to change in response to a Do Not Track signal.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
Quilt — Política de privacidad

En corto. Quilt no tiene cuentas ni servidor. Tus hábitos, tu historial y tus rachas se guardan solo en tu dispositivo y no se suben a ningún sitio. Lo único que sale de tu móvil es lo necesario para saber si has comprado Quilt Pro. No hay publicidad, ni analítica, ni seguimiento de ningún tipo.
Quién es el responsable
Quilt («la app») está publicada por Baltasar Jiménez («nosotros»), desarrollador individual con residencia en España, que actúa como responsable del tratamiento limitado que se describe abajo.

Lo que se queda en tu dispositivo
Todo lo que creas de verdad en Quilt se guarda en local, en un fichero dentro del almacenamiento privado de la app y en un contenedor compartido que permite al widget leerlo:
- Los hábitos que creas: nombre, emoji, color, días programados y objetivo diario.
- Tu historial: qué días completaste, cuántas veces y qué días marcaste como saltados.
- Las horas de tus recordatorios.
- Si has comprado Quilt Pro.
Nada de esto se nos envía ni se envía a terceros. No tenemos servidor, así que no podríamos recibirlo aunque quisiéramos. Desinstalar la app lo borra.
Lo que sí sale de tu dispositivo
Compras
Quilt ofrece una única compra dentro de la aplicación, de pago único. El pago lo procesa Google Play; nosotros no vemos ni recibimos los datos de tu tarjeta, tu dirección de facturación ni ningún otro dato de pago.
Para saber si una instalación concreta ha comprado Quilt Pro, la app usa RevenueCat, Inc. como encargado del tratamiento. RevenueCat asigna a cada instalación un identificador anónimo y guarda, por cuenta nuestra, ese identificador, el historial de compras asociado e identificadores técnicos del dispositivo. Como Quilt no tiene cuentas, ese identificador no está vinculado a tu nombre, tu correo ni ningún perfil. Consulta la política de privacidad de RevenueCat.
RevenueCat trata los datos en Estados Unidos. Las transferencias fuera del Espacio Económico Europeo están amparadas por las Cláusulas Contractuales Tipo de la Comisión Europea.
Nada más
Quilt no incluye ningún SDK de publicidad, de analítica ni de informes de fallos. No elaboramos perfiles, no usamos remarketing y no vendemos ni compartimos información personal con nadie. La app necesita conexión a internet únicamente para comprobar el estado de tu compra.
Permisos que pide la app

Quilt no pide acceso a tu ubicación, tus contactos, tu cámara, tu micrófono ni tu galería de fotos. Cuando decides guardar una imagen compartida, la app escribe ese único fichero en tu galería; nunca lee lo que ya hay en ella.
Los ficheros que exportas
Quilt puede exportar tus datos como copia de seguridad o como CSV. Tú eliges dónde se guarda ese fichero. Una vez guardado es tuyo y queda fuera de nuestro control: si lo dejas en una carpeta de la nube, se le aplica la política de ese proveedor, no esta.
Cuánto tiempo se conservan los datos
Los datos de tu dispositivo se conservan hasta que borras el hábito o desinstalas la app. Los registros de compra que guardan RevenueCat y Google Play se conservan el tiempo que esos servicios necesiten para poder restaurar compras y para cumplir sus propias obligaciones legales y fiscales.
Menores
Quilt no está dirigida a menores de 13 años y no recogemos conscientemente información de ellos. La app no tiene cuentas, ni contenido público generado por usuarios, ni funciones sociales.
Tus derechos según el RGPD
Si estás en el Espacio Económico Europeo o el Reino Unido, tienes derecho a acceder, rectificar, suprimir, limitar y oponerte al tratamiento de tus datos personales, y derecho a la portabilidad.
En la práctica casi todos los puedes ejercer tú mismo y al instante, porque los datos están en tu móvil: borrar un hábito lo elimina, desinstalar la app lo borra todo, y la función de exportar es literalmente portabilidad. Para los datos de compra que guarda RevenueCat, escribe a baltajmn@gmail.com y atenderemos tu solicitud. Ten en cuenta que solo podremos localizar tus registros si nos facilitas el identificador anónimo o el número de pedido de Google Play, precisamente porque no guardamos nada que te identifique.
Bases jurídicas: la ejecución de un contrato (entregarte la compra que hiciste) y nuestro interés legítimo en evitar restauraciones fraudulentas. También tienes derecho a presentar una reclamación ante tu autoridad de control; en España, la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Tus derechos según la CCPA / CPRA
Si resides en California: en los últimos doce meses hemos recogido las categorías «identificadores» (un identificador anónimo de instalación e identificadores de dispositivo) e «información comercial» (tu historial de compras), con el único fin de entregarte el producto que compraste.
No hemos vendido ni compartido información personal, y no la usamos para publicidad conductual entre contextos. No vendemos conscientemente información personal de menores de 16 años. Tienes derecho a saber, a suprimir, a corregir y a no sufrir discriminación por ejercer esos derechos; escribe a baltajmn@gmail.com.
Do Not Track
Quilt no te sigue entre aplicaciones ni sitios web, así que no hay ningún comportamiento de seguimiento que modificar ante una señal Do Not Track.
Cambios en esta política
Si esta política cambia, la nueva versión se publicará en esta misma dirección con una fecha nueva arriba. Los cambios importantes se describirán además en las notas de la versión de Google Play.
